Dropbox Photos and ZangZing
We’re big fans of Dropbox. Lots of people use Dropbox for synching and backing up files, including photos. Yesterday, we rolled out our latest connector which lets you add your Dropbox photos to a ZangZing album. It’s super fast and super simple. And, it finally unlocks all those photos that you have been wanting to share with friends.
What does this mean? We have more ways than any other photo sharing sites to upload photos to ZangZing. Our latest list includes Flickr, Facebook, Instagram, Picasa Web, Shutterfly, Kodak Gallery, SmugMug, and Photobucket. And, of course, you can always upload photos from your computer. With our desktop photo uploader, you can browse your iPhoto and Picasa Desktop albums, as well as your PC or Mac, to upload lots of photos in the background without having to sit and stare at your browser. However, let’s get back to chatting about Dropbox photos and sharing photos on ZangZing…
Sharing Dropbox Photos
It’s easy to add photos from Dropbox to a ZangZing album. If you are creating a new album, sign in to ZangZing, and click the New Album button on your home page. On the first screen, you will see all the places to add photos to ZangZing. Click on the Dropbox folder.

Then, you will be asked to connect your Dropbox account to ZangZing. By connecting your account, you allow ZangZing to display your Dropbox photos in any folder. Then, you can select to upload your Dropbox photos to ZangZing directly from Dropbox’s servers. If you have lots of photos to add, this is much faster than uploading directly from your computer…

By clicking the Add All Photos button in any folder, you can add the whole folder of Dropbox photos. By clicking on a photo, you can add that photo. There is also a magnifying glass in the right corner of each photo. Click on the magnifying to see the photo in a larger view. Once you select photos, they will show up in the Added Photos tray at the bottom of the screen.

When you have added your photos, go through the remaining steps to name the album, rearrange photos, delete photos, edit photo captions, and share photos with friends. That’s it.
A few other posts you might enjoy include posting photos to Facebook and commenting on photos. If you have a great photo you’d like us to share for photo of the day, let us know.
